Genetic Architecture and Signatures of Selection in the Caqueteño Creole (Colombian Native Cattle)

نویسندگان

چکیده

Evolutionary mechanisms have shaped the genomic architecture of Colombian Creole cattle breeds. The mating and selection processes impacted several traits, promoting differences within between populations. Studies population structure signatures in breeds are scarce, need more attention to better understand genetic differentiation, gene flow, distance. This study aimed analyze identify imprints Criollo Caqueteño (CAQ) population. It used 127 CAQ animals genotyped with Chip HD 777,000 SNPs. analyses discriminant principal component analysis (DAPC), integrated haplotype scoring (iHS), index-fixing (Fst) methodologies detect signals. We can highlight SNP regions on genes TMPRSS15, PGAM2, EGFR, identified by Fst method. Additionally, iHS for cluster 1 candidate BTA 3 (CMPK1 FOXD2), 11 (RCAN1), 22 (ARPP21). In group 2, we 4 (SLC13A4, BRAF), 9 (ULBP), 14 (CSMD3) 19 (KRTAP9-2). These been associated fertility precocity, growth, environmental disease resistance, indicating a potential animals. All this promotes understanding diversity Based that, our significantly assist sustainable development conservation breed Amazon.

contribution of setting to the study of characters and the main idea in e. brontes: wuthering heights and t. hardys: return of the native.

this thesis aims to adduce an unmitigated and comprehensive explication concerning the relationship of three significant elements of fiction: setting, chracter and theme. my research is basically placed on two outstanding novels of the 19th century: emily brontes wuthering heights and thomas hardys return of the native. my endeavour lies in studying the correlation among the three above-mention...

Genome-wide association study on growth traits in Colombian creole breeds and crossbreeds with Zebu cattle.

Whole genome selection represents an important tool for improving parameters related to the production of livestock. In order to build genomic selection indexes within a particular breed, it is important to identify polymorphisms that have the most significant association with a desired trait. A genome-wide marker association approach based on the Illumina BovineSNP50 BeadChip(TM) was used to i...
